Selection of pastas, sauces, soups, breads, cookies, dried fruit and nuts, mixes, frozen foods, cereals and specialty foods. Keep in mind that the gluten free foods are not all "separated" from the regular items. Shopping at Whole Foods is better after you know which products/types of foods you are looking for. Open til 10pm.

E. Against The Grain

A fantastic specialty store that only carries gluten free products. The owner calls the manufacturer of mainstream products that can be contaminated to make sure they are selling only gluten free. Everything you can imagine, and if not, ask. Also carries Charlottes Bakery breads and pizza crusts, as well as frozen pies and made-to-order cakes. Open Tues-Fri 10-6, Sat 10-4.
F. Utah Food Co-op (Crossroads Urban Center)
(Pick up one Saturday per month at your designated team site).
Great deals on local meat and fresh produce, as well as a chance to serve the community.
G. WinCo Foods

Hi Trish - This is a great resource for those of us in SLC. A couple of other places that I love to visit are:
ReplyDeleteShop n Go Indian Food Market @ 573 East 300 South - They sell wonderful spices, as well as chickpea, rice, millet and corn flours.
Southeast Asian Market @ 422 E 900 South - Lots of rice, rice noodles, springroll wraps, fresh herbs and produce, coconut milk.
Honeyville Grain (near SL airport) - Potato starch, corn flour, and almond flour in bulk.
Ethnic grocery stores seem to have some of the best places to go. The only problem is that they are not GF certified. They are very affordable, though, if your sensitivities can handle them.
